NAHB leaders met with EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, who emphasized his commitment to rolling back environmental regulations that impact the home-building industry, in line with President Trump’s deregulatory agenda. Zeldin highlighted plans to repeal or revise over 30 Biden-era rules, including changes to the Clean Water Act’s “waters of the United States” definition, which NAHB members addressed during a public EPA session that same day.
