LEED v5 announces more Arc resources
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announces the most robust release of the Arc platform and its expanded toolkit for LEED v5.The Arc platform by USGBC supports new certification capabilities for users. In addition to registering and setting up their projects, teams can explore credit forms, upload documentation and begin their certification journey. This includes USGBC-created calculators to support credit documentation, guidance documents and sample completed resources.
USGBC is aware that as the building industry rapidly evolves toward a future defined by decarbonization, resilience and occupant well-being, they must evolve their program with it. They shared in 2026, project teams can expect even more growth. With expected planning for additional project priority credits, expanded international guidance and alternative compliance paths and regular addenda updates. Expansion of project impact reports is also a priority. These reports will summarize certifications using metrics on emissions, energy, water, waste, IAQ, transportation and resilience. The goal is to strengthen project transparency and stakeholder communication.
“This is just the beginning—as we continue to enhance the Arc platform, more tools and resources are on the way to support your work.” said USGBC Senior Manager, Sumner Byrne.
