NGBS Green Certification Approved for Preferred Financing
Home Innovation Research Labs announced that NGBS Green Certification has been approved as a qualifying pathway for PACE Equity’s new CIRRUS® Zero Carbon program, providing developers and building owners with access to preferred financing. This partnership allows projects achieving NGBS Green +NET ZERO ENERGY certification to benefit from reduced capital costs while pursuing carbon neutrality. CIRRUS Zero Carbon, part of PACE Equity’s C-PACE financing line, rewards sustainable building practices by optimizing systems, offsetting energy use with renewables and lowering emissions.
With over 700,000 certified homes and apartments since its launch in 2009, NGBS Green has become one of the nation’s most trusted third-party sustainability certifications. By integrating rigorous standards with innovative financing, the collaboration between PACE Equity and Home Innovation makes net-zero building more financially attainable while adding long-term value.
