Plans for Passive House multi-family community unveiled
In Norwood, Mass., Maugel DeStefano Architects announced designs for a new 132-unit Passive House multi-family community. Developed by Panther Residential Management the project seeks to offer the growing market options for sustainable, amenity rich and social living.
The design and engineering team includes: civil engineering from Bohler Engineering, structural engineering from H+O Structural Engineering and MEP / Passive House engineering from Petersen Engineering. The team also includes Passive House Verifier SOCOTEC and code consulting from SLS Consulting. Groundbreaking is expected in Spring 2026, with a target move-in date of late 2027. The development seeks to add high-performance, environmentally responsible housing to a growing suburban market.
