USGBC announces 2026 Board of Directors
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced on Feb. 2,2026 their Board of Directors for the year. Members on the Board of Directors serve three-year terms and are responsible for continued sustainability leadership and strategic decisions at USGBC.
For 2026, USGBC welcomes Ana M. Lasso and Daniel Tangherlini. Lasso currently serves as Director of the California Department of General Services (DSG)where she manages the agency. The DSG collaborates with state agencies for real estate management and design, environmentally sustainable buildings and other duties. The last addition to the board is Tangherlini who is the Managing Director at Emerson Collective, an investment firm. He also is on the US Postal Service’s Board of Governors.
Alexandra Liftman continues her membership on the board. Liftman currently works as global environmental executive at the Bank of America. She is responsible for their global environmental sustainability strategy which includes investments in operational initiatives, public and corporate policy and philanthropy.
