USGBC Urges Senate to Reject Bill Threatening Energy

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is urging the Senate to reject a proposed budget bill that would eliminate key energy efficiency tax incentives, warning it would undermine two decades of bipartisan policy and severely disrupt construction and real estate markets. The bill would abruptly end credits for energy-efficient homes, commercial buildings and homeowner improvements, potentially stalling projects and threatening jobs, energy security and grid reliability.
