USGBC’s LEED for Cities Accelerator
The U.S. Green Building Council is committed to ensuring local governments achieve the LEED certification throughout the U.S. Since the launch of the LEED for Cities Accelerator, USGBC has created a pathway to make the certification more accessible, relevant and impactful for local governments.
The program has reached 62 local governments through the educational program. The program is developed by setting goals, tracking progress and supporting the local communities. The LEED certification is a major milestone for cities and by following the LEED accelerator, the path is simplier.
