Completed Affordable Housing in LEED Gold Building

The seven-story building, Shepherd-Glenmore, in Brooklyn, New York City will provide 74 affordable apartments. This project was developed on the site of a former junkyard by Housing Plus and Spatial Equity as a part of Governor Hochul’s $25 billion five-year housing plan.  It also features roof-top solar panels and was designed to meet Energy Star Multifamily New Construction and LEED Gold criteria. This new building a testament to affordable and sustainable housing.

“Shepherd-Glenmore marks a significant step forward in our mission to provide safe, affordable and supportive housing for all New Yorkers,” Governor Hochul said.
