Green Project of the Week: Newfield
Mattamy Homes announced a new master planned community, Newfield. The community is designed to be the epitome of connectivity and outdoor living, from a vibrant town center to extensive pedestrian and horseback riding trails.
Located in Martin County, Florida, Newfield will consist of nine villages with an array of unique home designs and a 170-acre sustainable farm. The community earned Silver-Level Green Building Certification for land planning and development from the Florida Green Building Coalition. This certification recognizes sustainable land planning, environmental stewardship and efforts to preserve Florida’s natural resources.
Homes will range from single-family homes to villas and townhomes, with sizes varying from 1,541 to 3,886 square feet.
