Meritage Homes completes 156,000 ENERGY STAR certified homes in 2025
On Aug. 2025, 2026, Meritage Homes published its 2025 Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Data Update. According to the report, Meritage Homes delivered nearly 14,500 homes in the past year, bringing its total to approximately 156,000 ENERGY STAR certified homes from 2009 to 2025. The company also reported an improved average HERS Index energy efficiency score to 48, indicating the homes delivered in 2025 were 52% more energy-efficient than a typical home built 20 years ago.
