2026 class of LEED Fellows announced

The Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), the independent oversight of professional credentialing and project certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) verification, announced the 2026 cohort of LEED Fellows.

This distinction recognized professionals with 10 years of experience as LEED professionals who exhibit exemplary leadership in sustainable building practices. The 2026 class of 21 professionals represents a global picture of the present and future of the built environment. The new fellows hail from nine different countries and work throughout the industry as executives, sustainability consultants and architects.

“LEED Fellows represent the highest level of professional achievement in green building practice,” said Peter Templeton, president and CEO, USGBC and GBCI. “LEED Fellows have earned this distinction through careers defined by leadership, technical excellence, and meaningful contribution to market transformation. This year’s class reflects the depth of expertise and commitment that drives the LEED community and inspires the global green building movement.”
