ABC Green Home 5.0 TerraVerde: Designing the Virtual Future of Luxury Wellness Living

As the fifth iteration of the nationally recognized ABC Green Home demonstration series, TerraVerde continues more than 15 years of leadership in showcasing advanced residential architecture, integrated technologies, healthier materials and high-performance building strategies to builders, architects, designers and developers throughout the American homebuilding industry.

What makes ABC Green Home 5.0 TerraVerde unique is that the project is already coming to life digitally long before construction begins.

Inside an immersive Building Information Modeling (BIM) environment, our architectural team is actively developing the home in real time. We are integrating everything from exterior assemblies and glazing systems to luxury interior environments, ventilation strategies, wellness technologies and smart home integration. This creates a fully realized virtual residence designed to demonstrate best practices in high-performance American homebuilding.

The project is creating engagement during the active design phase itself. Participating manufacturers onboarding during the current BIM development phase are integrated directly into the evolving virtual model home experience and are invited to liaise with our design team regarding materials, technologies and product selections as the architectural specifications continue taking shape ahead of the targeted late Fall Virtual Model Home Grand Opening.

The virtual unveiling will introduce ABC Green Home 5.0 TerraVerde through cinematic fly-through animations, immersive architectural renderings, integrated wellness technologies and luxury interior visualizations. This content will be distributed across Builder Media’s magazines, newsletters, websites, video platforms and social media channels, as well as www.abcgreenhome.com.

Other builders and architects following the project are able to study how advanced materials, ventilation systems, resilient construction assemblies, lighting technologies and smart home systems integrate into a cohesive luxury residential design. While consumers are able to visualize how those same systems contribute to cleaner indoor air, elevated comfort, energy efficiency and modern wellness living inside a beautifully designed home environment.

Indoor air quality remains one of the project’s central design priorities as we evaluate advanced ventilation systems, integrated air filtration technologies, balanced airflow strategies and healthier low-emission materials intended to support cleaner and more comfortable interior living environments.

At the same time, ABC Green Home 5.0 TerraVerde incorporates resilient construction approaches intended to address the growing demand for durability and long-term performance throughout the American West including advanced glazing systems, durable exterior materials, energy-efficient roofing technologies and wildfire-conscious construction assemblies designed to coexist seamlessly within sophisticated luxury architecture.

Importantly, the project demonstrates how modern high-performance homebuilding no longer requires sacrificing warmth, beauty or livability in order to achieve healthier indoor environments and elevated energy performance.

The home is being designed to feel luxurious, comfortable, connected and highly livable while quietly integrating advanced building science, wellness technologies and resilient construction strategies behind the scenes.
