Green Project of the Week: Cypress Cove
Built by Seasafe Homes, the Cypress Cove is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom coastal home in Florida.
Coastal and waterfront lots bring flood elevation, setback and wind requirements, so the 1,650-square-foot home was designed to meet applicable FEMA flood requirements and local flood codes. The foundations were engineered based on a site-specific geotechnical study. Seasafe Homes engineered the project to withstand 180 MPH winds.
Cypress Cove was designed for open-concept living, with the dining area and kitchen seamlessly connected.
Seasafe Homes received the 2025 Mark Samuelian Award in Residential Resilience for the coastal project.
