Green Project of the Week: Butterfly Hill
The Butterfly Hill project, built by Studio.e Architecture, is a LEED Silver-certified, self-sustainable eco-luxury masterpiece in a gated community outside Jacksonville, Ore. The home was designed with drought-tolerant native plantings and a 15,000-gallon rainwater collection system that supplies irrigation. The builder also installed a dedicated fire suppression tank, solar power, a KVA 20 generator and extensive fire hardening.
The 2,585-square-foot Butterfly Hill project delivers abundant sweeping views, open-concept living space and folding glass doors that open directly to the outdoors, blending nature with luxury living. Further blending outdoor-indoor living, the project’s location is located along nearby hiking trails and surrounded by endless views of nature, balancing tranquility without being too remote.
