KB Home opens 1,500-home masterplanned community
KB Home announced the opening of a new 300-acre, 1,500-home community, Sandstone, in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
One- and two-story homes in the new community offer up to five bedrooms and five bathrooms while receiving the ENERGY STAR® certification. The builder emphasized that less than 12% of homes nationwide meet this standard.
In KB Home’s most recent sustainability report, the company reported building an estimated 217,000 ENERGY STAR-certified homes since 2000.
Homes in the community also deliver modern design decisions such as open-concept living, walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms.
“With Sandstone, we’re bringing more than 1,500 new homes to a beautiful North Las Vegas location. As the largest new-home community we’ve developed in the past 10 years and the first phase of an exciting new master plan, Sandstone presents an opportunity for attainable homeownership in a highly desirable setting,” said Jim McDade, President of KB Home’s Las Vegas division. “At KB Home, we focus on creating value through competitive, transparent pricing and giving buyers the ability to personalize their home based on what matters most to them. We put them in control, so they’re not paying for features they don’t value or compromising on ones they do.”
