Beazer Homes wins four major RESNET CRESNET awards
Beazer Homes, one of the nation’s largest-scale sustainable homebuilders, proves that delivering energy efficiency is possible in every home. On July 24, 2026, Beazer Homes received four of the six U.S. award categories in the RESNET/CRESNET Cross Border Builder Challenge.
The Cross Border Builder Challenge recognizes North America’s highest-performing homes based on verified HERS Ratings and related performance metrics. The program was established by RESNET and the Canadian Residential Energy Services Network (CRESNET) in 2012.
Beazer Homes exemplifies how builders can lead on both volume and high-performance priorities. Beazer Homes received the RESNET President’s Award – North with an average HERS® Index of 36 and the RESNET President’s Award – South with an average HERS Index of 30. The builder also took home the RESNET Low Score Production Award with a HERS Index of 30 and the RESNET Net Zero Award with a HERS Index of -48.
