Boulder launches 2026 Wildfire Resilience Assistance Program
On April 17, 2026, the City of Boulder, Colo., announced the launch of the 2026 Wildfire Resilience Assistance Program (WRAP), continuing its commitment to helping residents reduce wildfire risk and strengthen community resilience. Originally launched in 2024, WRAP provides financial assistance to property owners in designated wildfire-risk areas to complete projects that make properties safer from wildfire.
“I am proud to say that the program in 2026 is building on what we heard from the community and from what we have learned from previous years,” said City Manager Nuria Rivera-Vandermyde. “This year, it introduces some key updates that further prioritize impactful resilience efforts and (expand) program access to more of our community.”
