Colorado responds to wildfire risk with new prevention method

After one of the driest winters on record, Colorado is now facing an elevated risk of wildfires. In response, homeowners are looking for efficient wildfire prevention methods, such as an automated exterior sprinkler system. These automated exterior sprinkler systems mount along eaves and rooflines and can trigger automatically or by remote. The system targets fire embers, which are the highest wildfire threat to homes.

Harry Statter, Frontline Wildfire Defense CEO and Founder, explained that the sprinklers wet materials outside homes so when those embers land, they cannot ignite. Colorado has become its second fastest-growing market for automated sprinkler systems in the U.S., following closely behind California.
