Green Project of the Week: Sun Gazing House
The Sun Gazing House, built by Tall Pines Construction, is the first LEED Platinum-certified home in Utah. This net-zero home features 12.5′ thick walls, quadruple-glazed windows and innovative thermal mass technology. In a collaborative effort with the builder, designer and architects, the primary goal was for the home to function sustainably without compromising luxury.
Expansive windows let natural light seep into the project’s dining room, offering breathtaking views of the tree line and a seamless blend of indoor-outdoor living.
