KB Home announces new headquarters
KB Home, one of the largest sustainable homebuilders in the U.S., announced the relocation of their headquarters from Los Angeles to Tempe, Ariz. The reason for this relocation cited KB Home staff, is the friendlier business environment and the more central location. The relocation will begin in spring 2027.
However, the builder is not abandoning homebuilding in the state. KB Home plans to continue its six operating divisions in California. Currently there are over 100 communities open in the state. \
“This move brings our teams together in a more collaborative environment, and Phoenix is the right place to do it,” said Robert McGibney, president and chief executive officer of KB Home. “It positions KB Home to operate more effectively and supports the next phase of our growth.”
