USGBC advocacy in Arizona

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) recently visited Arizona lawmakers and advised on the importance of energy-efficient policies, building practices and water conservancy. USGBC often engages in advocacy across the state, local and federal level for green building initiatives and decarbonization policies, this is on the ground work advancing the green building industry.

During the visit, USGBC discussed the current energy demand in the state, and how LEED-certification could ease typical usage. Representatives of USGBC also held meetings on discussing bills that would positively affect the future of high-performance building in Arizona.
